CalPad – Tracking progress with Check list

Check list is a very useful feature to keep track of what you need to do for your personal tasks/events. It also can be used to effectively track the progress of an individual task/event to know what has been done/prepared and what need to be done/prepared next to complete the task/event.

CHECKLIST FROM DETAIL VIEW

Every task / event can have a checklist attached. Specifically, you can insert a new item, remove or mark done existing item(s) to keep track of the progress. For example, when you create a task named "Go shopping", then attach to it a checklist including all shopping items you need. To create or edit the check list you can open the details view of the item (double tap on an individual item to open its details view, or tap on the item and then choose Edit from the quick action menu).

You can move the items in the checklist around to create your preferable priority. Tap the “Sort” button on the top bar, use the finger to move items up or down to change the orders. Note that you will need to tap and hold the item at the stripes to move it around.

You can check or uncheck the items directly from this Detail view.

CHECKLIST FROM POP-OVER MENU

On any view in the app, the task or event that has check list will has icon information.

Tap on any task/event that has check list you will see a pop-over menu, which includes the check list as below

From there, you can check or uncheck any item in the checklist. This helps you quickly update the status of your task/event. Also, the status of your task/event will be shown.

CHECK/UNCHECK LIST ITEMS

A completed item will have a mark done at the end and is greyed out. To complete an item, tap on its text. To undo a completed item, tap on it again.
